About to send app to review, embedded needed?

Hi, I am a new developer, and wanted to publish an app we are building for our attribution company on Shopify, I have been rejected a few times due to issues with pricing, and then suspended, so to avoid a suspension again I got a bit more paranoic with the documentation on App Requirements, which broughts me to a question on “is it necessary for my app to be embedded? Or to add some embedded functionalities?”

Because the docs are not decisive on whether the requirements apply in case you are providing an embedded experience or if an embedded experience is mandatory

“Use the latest version of Shopify App Bridge. As of March 13th, 2024, all apps must use the latest Shopify App Bridge by adding the app-bridge.js”

“Provide a consistent embedded experience. Your app must provide a consistent embedded experience by ensuring that any off-platform features are integrated directly within the Shopify Admin”

PD: I am talking about the requirements for accesing the app store, and my web app is for analytics, which provides different graphics and analysis on data

Making the app embedded is usually pretty easy and provides a more seamless experience for merchants, I’ve personally had apps approved on first try when they were embedded. Though, I’ve never developed a non-embedded app so keep that in mind lol

I know this isn’t what you’re asking but you should really consider making it embedded if you feel like it puts your approval at risk
