I agree here. Making this kind of core infrastructural change during the Black Friday, Cyber Monday and December frenzy is not something we want to do, as during that time of the year, we want to be sure that our apps are stable and without any faults.
Given that some edge cases with expiring tokens where identified ( Migrating from non expiring to expiring access tokens ), it would be very welcoming if the deadline can be moved to April 2027 and the edge cases handled until then.
