We have been receiving more and more complaints of merchants seeing their cart crash due to 429 errors, not only on the /cart/add.js and other mutation endpoints, but on the /cart.js endpoint as well. The issue is particularly visible when connecting through a VPN (I have used NordVPN P2P connectio…

429 errors affecting real shoppers have been resolved. The remaining issue is CLI-specific, and we’re still working on a proper fix. Thanks to @bakin11 for sharing a great workaround, which I’d recommend following to get unblocked in the meantime. To keep CLI discussion in one place, I’m going to c…

Been running into these 429 errors this morning while trying to test some cart changes using shopify theme dev. I can add about 3 products to the cart before I get locked out with 429 errors for several minutes. This is really frustrating, I need to add dozens of items to the cart to test the theme …

Although we had shipped a fix for this in CLI version 3.92.1, thanks for letting us know you’re still encountering issues with it. Just a heads up that we’re mostly discussing 429 errors with CLI here: [image] 429 Too many requests Shopify CLI and Libraries Go…

I respect that you ( @Paige-Shopify ) are doing your best to respond in this thread but this problem is getting out of hand. It has become unsustainable to develop and…

Hi @sanico_software , we have recently shipped another fix for local theme development. Can you confirm if upgrading to the latest CLI version resolves the issue for you? If not, Josh is looking for further feedback through the thread Luke linked above.

Issue has been opened in January and still not fixed. [image] I’m not even able to access localhost to work on theme.

Hi @Nikola_Markovic , are you encountering this issue before cart actions?
