[App Store Indexing] Live app with POS UI Extension missing from "Works with Shopify POS" filter (handle: pos-staff-commission-targets)

Hi POS Extensions & App Store team,

Partner Support suggested posting here so the POS extension development team could investigate an App Store search indexing issue with our live app.

App Details

Deployed POS Extensions

Our production version has active native POS UI Extensions targeting:

  • pos.home.tile.render (Smart Grid tile)
  • pos.home.modal.render (Attribution modal)

On our public listing page, it explicitly says “Works with: Shopify POS”.

The Issue

When searching without filters, the app ranks well on Page 1:

  • https://apps.shopify.com/search?q=KWD+POS+Staff+Commission (Appears on Page 1 at #2 organic position)

However, as soon as the “Works with Shopify POS” filter is applied (&features[]=point-of-sale), our app disappears completely from the results:

  • https://apps.shopify.com/search?q=KWD+POS+Staff+Commission&features%5B%5D=point-of-sale (App is dropped entirely from the 154 results, even on exact brand search)

Diagnosis

It seems our app listing was not tagged with the internal features: point-of-sale facet tag in the App Store search/Elasticsearch database when it went live, causing the search facet filter to drop it.

Could someone from the POS / App Store indexing team please review our listing and trigger a search re-index so our app is discoverable under the “Works with Shopify POS” filter?
