B2B Features for Non-Plus Merchants: Admin API Access planned?

Hi guys,

it’s really great that you’ve opened up some B2B features for non-Plus merchants. I think this will help a lot of stores.

However, from a developer perspective, it feels inconsistent that the (limited) B2B resources cannot be accessed or manipulated via the Admin API as well.

Are you planning to allow this in the future, or will this remain Shopify Plus only?

@Marvin_S are you having any actual problems with this? The APIs should work fine and I believe the documentation just hasn’t been updated to reflect that it’s no longer Plus only

Company API access for non-Plus stores

Now that B2B is available to all merchants, is there any plan to open API access to the company resource for non-Plus stores? This would help developers work with and extend the b2b features Shopify is now offering.

Thanks for flagging folks, @Brett is correct. We have recently made some previously Plus-only B2B features open to most merchants: Key B2B features now available on non-Plus plans - Shopify Changelog

Going to see if we can update the docs to reflect how things stand at the moment, hope this helps a bit!

Yup, the API works on non-Plus stores.

I actually signed up for a Shopify “trial” account (which is the same as the Basic plan) just to test this out specifically as the API doc mentioned Shopify Plus only, and the API still worked.
