Hello all, so I wanted to get some clarification on transactional SMS messaging.
In checkout, if a customer has both phone and email enabled, it joins this together in a single input field under the ‘Contact’ section. My question is: given this has the compliancy language underneath, can the entry within this field be used for sending transactional SMS messaging through 3rd party providers such as Attentive or Postscript? Or, is the secondary field (the optional Phone field under Delivery) used for those purposes?
