'currentPeriodEnd' field is returning null for an active subscription

Hi there,

the GraphQL API is returning a null for the field ‘curerntPeriodEnd’ for a concrete active app subscription, which is something we had never seen and is very strange: the subscription is an active monthly recurring one, so that field should apparently be well set, as it happens with other cases.

We don’t know if this is something that happens only in this concrete case, or if this is a more general issue.

Could I send a DM to someone from Shopify with the store info to analyze the issue?

Thanks.

Hey @sinuhe I had a quick look into this and haven’t seen any previous mentions either here or internally.

Assuming this issue persists, would you be able to share an x-request-id response header from a call that returned null for currentPeriodEnd? With that I’ll be able to pull the logs and inspect the subscription involved to see what’s going on. Thanks!

Thanks @sinuhe! I can see there is already a parallel investigation open with Developer Support for the same app, store, and subscription.

The Dev Support team has raised your issue with the App Billing team and will reply through the open ticket as soon as they have an update.

I also followed up with App Billing to let them know you also reached out here, so they have all the context they need.

We’ll let Developer Support own the investigation, but I’ll follow up here too so the outcome is public in case it might help anyone else - thanks for flagging here!
