The app has the read_customers scope configured and granted (confirmed via
Shopify CLI “Access scopes auto-granted” message and verified in the Session
table that the access token includes read_customers,write_products).
When querying the customer object via GraphQL Admin API:

I get the following error:
“This app is not approved to access the Customer object.” (code: ACCESS_DENIED)
There is no “Protected customer data access” option visible anywhere in the
new Dev Dashboard for this app (only Monitoring, Logs, Versions, App settings
are available).
