Architecture:
- App Home UI Extension (Preact-based, no backend server)
- Cart validation Shopify Function
- Checkout UI Extension
- API Protocol: shopify:admin/api (automatically authenticated)
Issue: Both embedded app checks pending for 90+ minutes:
- Using the latest App Bridge script loaded from Shopify’s CDN
- Using session tokens for user authentication
Additionally, automated compliance checks failing:
- Provides mandatory compliance webhooks
- Verifies webhooks with HMAC signatures
- Uses a valid TLS certificate
Root cause: This is a serverless extension-only app with:
- No backend server
- No webhook handlers
- No custom TLS endpoints
- Uses shopify:admin/api protocol (automatically authenticated by Shopify)
App Home UI extensions don’t emit traditional session token events
or handle webhooks, so these checks cannot pass automatically.
Request: Manual verification for these checks, as they’re designed
for traditional backend apps and don’t apply to serverless UI extension
architecture.
All functionality tested and working correctly on dev store.
App ready for review pending these automated check verifications.
