Description of Issue
If I create a metaobject that doesn’t have a single line text field to use as the “Display name”, it auto-generates a handle and title for the metaobject:
If I want the title to be more descriptive of the metaobject, I have to update the handle, which just feels a bit weird since you have to enter it in handle format and can’t control the casing or use special characters:
As a workaround, I usually create a single line text field called “Title (internal use only)” to use as the “Display name” of the metaobject.
Suggested Solution
Add a “Title” field on every metaobject, and use that as the metaobject title on the list page. That title could be handleized and used as the handle (but it’s still editable), similar to how it works on products, collections, and pages.
Not an urgent one, but just wanted to pass it along!
