How can Shopify app developers get early access to pos.receipt-footer.block.render?

Hi Shopify team and fellow developers,

We are a Shopify app developer building a loyalty app for Shopify merchants, and we are currently working on a POS loyalty experience.

We would like to use the following POS UI Extension target:

pos.receipt-footer.block.render

Our use case is to display loyalty points information directly on the Shopify POS receipt after a customer completes a purchase.

We have merchants actively asking for this functionality because they want their customers to see information such as the points earned from the purchase directly on their POS receipt.

However, we understand that pos.receipt-footer.block.render is currently in developer preview and cannot be deployed to production stores.

Our questions are:

  1. How can Shopify app developers request early access/invitation to this target?

  2. Is there an application or approval process for getting access?

  3. Can Shopify Partners request access for a specific app or development organization?

  4. If there is currently an invite-only/private preview, how can we get invited?

We have also looked at using the POS Printing API to print a separate loyalty slip, but our merchants specifically want the loyalty points to appear on the native POS receipt, rather than requiring a separate printout.

For reference, we are specifically interested in:

pos.receipt-footer.block.render

Any guidance from Shopify or developers who have already received access would be greatly appreciated.
