We have a new app we recently completed. We deployed it on one of our existing customer’s store to test it in production before letting the rest of our customers use it. Different from our previous apps, this one has usage based billing. I am seeing successful app billing events in the logs but when I check our customer’s store, the usage is not reflected in the current, active bill. This is very concerning. Can someone explain to me how this flow works? Are they eventually going to reflect? If not, then there is something wrong, how can I debug this issue?
As a side note, Shopify really needs to implement a “Pending Charges” segment for the Partner Dashboard that show these kind of usage charges and activation subscriptions that hasn’t charged yet. There is way too much guess work in not knowing when things will charge.
