Any solutions or workarounds ?
Hello @Liam-Shopify ,
I was trying to fix this issue from morning… from chatGPT suggestion they told me to change shopify.extension.toml > shopify.extension.yml and i did same thing and then i tried to deploy. it works but sudden theme app extention is detached(Deleted) from all the stores. this is very serious issue for me !!! :((
is there any way to get back and attach to every store ?
Looking forwards your answer
Can anyone suggest me what to do next ? or should i have to create new theme app extention ?
You should redeploy it with the correct file extension, but you’ll have to wait for the fix before that.
Creating a new app won’t help. The problem happens with the default scaffold app with a theme app extension generated by the CLI.
Hey ![]()
I’m sure the team is trying to fix it ASAP. Is there an ETA for this, though?
How slow are such kind of bugs fixed man I am working on an important project its been more than 12 hours.
Calm down, man. They’re working on it.
Thanks for your reply, but the problem is theme app extention is not showing in any store now…it is detached and i am worrying about it.
I have renamed shopify.extension.toml > shopify.extension.yml based on suggestion and it was deployed but the problem is theme app extention it detached from all enabled store.
wait, ones developer fix the issue it will be working fine just like before
Yeah, I’m sure the problem is on their end, not the CLI or any other library
Glad to know I am not the only one.
So its not working even if you try to rollback (redeploy) previous app version (from the Shopify Dev portal) ?
If there’s a previous app version in the portal that works/is still there then that should still work. I had no problems rolling back an app with a theme app extension.
Hi folks - we’ve just shipped an update which should resolve this issue. Can you please check to see if this error is no longer appearing.
how much it will take my boss is not understanding and i have some urgent task with my app but i can’t run it.
Anyone have any idea to solve that ?
Seems to have started working!! ![]()
