Apologies if this has already been addressed.
I would like to suggest that the app index page in the shop should indicate the App’s version or, at least if there is another version/no longer supported, etc. So the Admin will know that there is a new version available.
Also I would assume it would be good to indicate that a mandatory update is required in the event of a security issue/etc.
