How do we test the actual migration of rates from profiles to market driven shipping? My dev stores that don’t have the feature preview do not have the option to upgrade, but the dev stores with the feature preview has the ability to downgrade to profiles, but once downgraded, profiles still do not show and the only option is to upgrade again.
We need to test how the rates translates to markets so we can get a feel of how this will look and test for issues/differences.
Also, there is an issue with app owned profiles where it doesn’t work if the merchant has other rates setup in the general shipping profile, i’ve posted a separate thread here: [BUG] Shopify app controlled shipping profile not working
This means that we will need to keep writing to the merchant controlled profiles as part of this migration once moved onto 2026-10 to keep apps working correctly.
