Sales channel access buttons removed for app discounts

Hi, our team has noticed that in the “Discounts” page in the Shopify admin dashboard, the “Allow sales channel access” and “Deny sales channel access” buttons are now only visible when built-in discounts are selected. Discounts created via Discount Functions do not have these options available.

  1. Were these options intentionally removed?
  2. What are we supposed to replace these with? The GraphQL Admin API doesn’t provide any way to manage sales channel access for discounts, so there’s no solution right now.

Looks like this has disappeared for automatic discounts, but is still there for code based discounts (both function based and native).

I think that reflects how things actually worked (automatic discounts would run, for example on POS regardless).
