To now send collaborator requests to other stores it requires you to verify your identity. When doing so, mine immediately just says, “unable to verify”. I tried my license and my passport as well. The lighting is fine, nothing is cut off, nothing is blurry. I tried to contact Shopify Support. I am always told, “it’s been escalated and someone will get back to you” and no one EVER gets back to me. It’s really causing me a lot of issues now. Is there a workaround or some way to fix this?

I don’t even get a response from them. I’ve hit them up on live chat multiple times. Get told “escalating this” and then no one responds. They’re understaffed, and of course hiring careless help from overseas never is a positive experience. Having to identify yourself to access someone else’s shop is ridiculous. I can just have my clients invite me directly as a workaround so what’s the point? They’re folding up my fucking business by doing this.
