We migrated from a previous platform and have legacy URLs under reserved Shopify path prefixes. Example:
- Legacy URL:
https://shop.example.com/services/page-name - Intended target:
https://shop.example.com/pages/page-name
We created a URL redirect in Online Store → Navigation → URL redirects (/services/page-name→ /pages/page-name), but it never triggers. The request returns Shopify’s generic “Something went wrong / Not Found” page rather than our theme’s 404 or the redirect. So the request appears to be handled by the platform router before URL redirects are evaluated.
What would be the recommended solution here?
