Unable to filter by new API versions after 2025-01

Hi there,

This is really more of a documentation issue, but I don’t see that category to post to.

In the past you could use the API Version Release Notes to review the breaking changes to make sure you can make the necessary adjustments to keep up with the new Admin API versions.

Now, that’s been moved to more of an RSS feed style Developer Change Log. However, this UI is missing the necessary filters for newer versions.

It’s not possible (from what I can tell) to review the breaking/deprecated changes to 2025-04 and beyond. It seems like the filters might be hardcoded instead of updating dynamically as time passes and new versions are released.

Could these filters be updated to include the latest supported versions of the API?

Hi @Dylan,

You definitely can filter by the latest support API Versions in the Shopify.dev changelog.

The Filter by release option you’ve highlighted here is for the latest released versions, 2026-01 is the latest released version, and 2025-10 is the second latest support version.

Additionally, these buttons here actually just set the Filter by tag > API in the section above, and if you set the filter manually by clicking the API checkbox, you can select other API versions to filter by as well, though it is still limted to only the currently supported versions.

Thanks @Kellan-Shopify - can’t believe I missed that. I assumed those two filters at the bottom were the only options for filtering by API version.

Makes sense!
