when order is in partially paid stage, and after some days if we again do some partiall payment, then it’s updated_at will update ? also if financial_state updates then update_date also updated_at right?
Hi @Navneet_Chauhan! You’re right on both counts. I verified this on a test store. Recording a $25 partial payment on a $100 order moved it from pending to partially_paid and bumped updated_at. A second partial payment that left the order still partially_paid bumped updated_at too, and a final payment moving it to paid did as well. A financial_status change is an update to the order record itself, so it always moves updated_at.
Since updated_at reflects any order change, not only payments, use each transaction’s own created_at and processed_at fields on order.transactions for exact payment timing. You can also subscribe to the orders/updated webhook and watch updated_at in the payload. If you want to confirm the behavior for your flow, poll with updated_at_min after recording a payment.
