Be Kind and Respectful
Harassment, threats, personal attacks, discrimination, or trolling of any kind will not be tolerated. We aim to maintain a safe space for Shopify developers from all backgrounds, identities, and beliefs. We encourage you to show empathy towards other community members, and be respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences.
Keep the Forum Organized
Maintain a tidy forum by searching for existing topics before posting a question. Ensure posts are opened in the correct category and ensure you apply the most accurate tag that relates to your question. When posting API questions, always include:
- The full API query or mutation with personally identifiable information (PII) removed
- Detailed replication steps and time when issue appeared
- The API version and any error messages that are appearing
- Relevant screenshots or videos to illustrate the issue
This detailed approach helps peers and internal staff provide effective solutions quickly.
No Spam
Spam, including off-topic or unsolicited promotional content, will be removed. If you encounter potential spam, please flag it for moderator review.
Solution Marking
Mark a comment as the solution to indicate a resolved question, this will help other developers to find effective answers quickly .
Confidentiality and Intellectual Property
Do not share sensitive or confidential information. If you are sharing code snippets, libraries, and/or other resources, please ensure you have the right to share that content and provide appropriate attributions where applicable.
Moderators have the right and responsibility to remove posts that are not aligned to this Code of Conduct, or to suspend any members for other behaviors that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.
