Is it possible to have a mirror version of a shopify site, but done in a retro aesthetic? And if so, what kind of costs would be involved?

I think a mirror version is achievable with the Shopify Headless Commerce approach. This way, you can have the original Brass Knucks site and a custom retro version while still being connected through the same inventory/backend.
There are many providers that offer this service, and you can choose which one will be more cost-effective for you:
Some may be able to provide both visual and development services at the same time, or you can hire someone from any freelance site out there.
