adding paypal button on minicart popup using hydrogen. can anyone help? it seams like its not support.

Hi Alan, when you say solved by @Alan_G do you have a solution? Its something so easy to add that can really boost the conversion… to have the smart button in minicart or on shopping cart. Is there a solution to use shopify native shopping cart with hydrogen?

is there a way we discuss on the phone maybe?

Hi @SSSSABBAH :waving_hand: - I may have misclicked “solved” there on my end - thanks for mentioning that!

I was able to look into this further and can confirm adding the PayPal accelerated checkout button (or others) isn’t currently supported as a feature for the mini cart in Hydrogen yet, but I am going to put through a feature request report for you since I do see how this would be super useful.

Let me know if I can clarify anything more on our end here.

No worries @SSSSABBAH - I can’t guarantee a timeline on this, but usually if a feature is added (even if it’s a small one), it would be pop up in our changelogs here: Recent changes to Shopify’s platform

There is an RSS feed you can subscribe to for the changelog as well if you wanted to automate changelog retrieval - hope this helps!
