Apologies, I meant to direct my reply to @Michelle_Shi and @jzaz (Shopify Staff) regarding my question of just reporting the emailers. I do understand this is on the Shopify side which is why I meant to reply to them.

Hi @Soufiane_Ghzal , the appeals process is to contact Shopify Support with some identifier of the review (i.e. the shop URL that left it) and a description of why you think it was deleted incorrectly. This is outlined in our Reviews FAQ here .

One data point from the merchant side, since the thread is mostly about what got removed. We pulled every review in the shipping category in September, i.e. after the July unpublishing, and digested the 104 apps with 30 or more reviews (30,267 reviews). What survived the sweep still has the pattern…
