Anyone here using SAP with Shopify? Thinking about getting certified

Hey everyone,

I run a Shopify store and we’ve recently started looking at integrating SAP for better inventory and order management. I didn’t realize how deep SAP’s ecosystem actually is until I started researching.

Now I’m thinking… would getting an SAP certification be worth it for someone running or managing an online store? It looks like the certs cover things like supply chain, finance, and analytics — all stuff that could help make a Shopify business run smoother, especially if you’re dealing with bigger order volumes or multiple warehouses.

Hey @Asumi_Carol :waving_hand: I can’t give specific advice in terms of the benefit of the courses/certs, but SAP-based ERPs are pretty common in the Shopify ecosystem, especially for larger or Plus merchants.

It’s a pretty typical pattern to connect SAP with Shopify for inventory, orders, and fulfillment/customer info and we do see questions about SAP integration pretty commonly in my team’s day to day work (Developer Support). Just wanted to sharing that general context in case it helps with your decision. Hope this helps a bit!
