If you check email notification reference, it doesn’t seem that they are. I checked this reference and there is no order metafields neither?

Idea is to store download links to invoice etc… and make advanced conditional logic

Only product and variant metafields are supported on email notifications currently - expanding support for other types is being explored but no roadmap/ timeframe to share on this. The use cases you’ve provided are helpful though for product teams to understand the benefits of investing in this.
Looking for the same. We are using order metafields for key delivery method and date info for our integrations that is more complex than defaults allow for, and being able to represent these within our confirmation emails would be ideal. Thank you!
Yes we wanna show, local pickup location opening hours, as well, pickup time etc.. order and other types of metafields like locations need to be supported here.
