"Automatically format liquid files on save" breaks theme code

Has anyone already reported this or know the status?

Selecting this checkbox in online theme code editor breaks many themes because it removes the backticks which are used for theme strings…

This is at least the third case I’ve encountered – check the topic and the link to the previous case in my reply.

Hey @tim_tairli - thanks for flagging this, looking into this for you now. I’ll loop back with you here when I have an update - this is definitely odd.
