It appears there’s a caching issue in the create discount modal. For new installations no new discount types are shown.
Loading in incognito fixes this (and I assume just killing cache), but it’s a bad first experience for merchants.

Hey again @bkspace hopefully I’m understanding correctly, but is the issue in the native Shopify “create discount” modal, like this:
Just wanted to confirm if that’s the case, and if you’re able to share the reproductions steps/a video or some screenshots. Happy to investigate further for sure - hope to speak soon!
Yep, exactly that! I’m just unsure if this occurs on first install if there are not other function apps, or if it only happens if you have existing extensions (e.g Checkout Links)
@bkspace - thanks for clarifying! Have you noticed this happening on shops where there are no function apps installed or does it only seem to happen after you first install a function app on a shop where there were no others before.
I think my next step will be to test this on some test shops internally to see if we can get the behaviour to replicate, but just wanted to confirm my understanding before diving in fully. Definitely weird behaviour though, I believe this may be unexpected for sure!
