[Bug] Multi Line Metafield updates

Hi, there seems to be a bug with flow and updating multi line metafield.

I’ve got a multi line string being returned from liquid, with new lines etc, but flow is interpreting it as a string line string.

E.g. Type ‘single_line_text_field’ must be consistent with the definition’s type: ‘multi_line_text_field’." For value: “\n\nIndicates the amount of units you can return during a return window.\nYou are unable to return: 21 items.\n”

So it should be multi line as its has new line chars, it was working until Thursday last week and it looks like an update has caused Flow to stop processing this correctly

Thanks, we do have a fix planned for this coming out Monday I think that will ignore the type when updating a structured metafield, which would eliminate this class of error.

Fix is live. Rerun workflows that failed if you still want them to set the metafield values.
