[Bug] Urgent POS Staff Member ID mapping

Hey,
The staff member ID we can access on Shopify POS, no longer resolves to any page or visible ID in the Shopify Admin.

For example my staff member ID is 84827177185
I used to be able to link to /apps/point-of-sale-channel/staff/84827177185 in Shopify Admin but that page has been removed now.

Instead we have to go to Users in Shopify Admin which has this link to me /settings/organization-account/145651708

Which is a very different ID, this makes it impossible to link a merchant to their staff team members.

Is this expected? That the staff member id no longer resolves to anything in the admin? Or is that a broken id now?

I know that plus stores can access it via the staff member graphql query, but this isn’t viable for all merchants

We are moving all POS staff and role management to the admin. You will want to you change your url to be /settings/account/145651708 which will take you to the right organization user.

For now, we will add a redirect in POS Channel to resolve this.
