We are building a public sales channel app. The channel’s storefront is a native iOS app where college students shop from local merchants near their campus. Merchants install the channel and publish products to it. Buyers pay in each merchant’s own Shopify checkout, in line with App Store requirements 1.1.2 and 5.7.14: we create one cart per merchant with the Storefront API (cartCreate, with the channel’s storefront access token for attribution) and open the checkoutUrl with Checkout Kit for Swift.
We would like buyers to pay with Apple Pay or Shop Pay from our own cart screen using accelerated checkouts (ShopifyAcceleratedCheckouts), with the Checkout Kit sheet as the fallback. The docs describe this for one store’s own mobile app. Our app sells for many merchants, each with their own store, so:

Is the write_cart_wallet_payments scope available to a public sales channel app that serves many merchants? Does anything in the App Store requirements rule it out?

Apple Pay setup: the guide covers payment processing certificates for one store. With one iOS app, one Apple merchant identifier and many merchants, how is this meant to work? Does each merchant have to do something in their admin, or can it be set up for them when they install the channel?

Does each merchant need Shopify Payments for the Apple Pay button to work? For a merchant who does not qualify, do the buttons hide themselves, or should we check something first and show only the checkout sheet?

Is there any extra requirement for the Shop Pay button in a multi-merchant app?

Is the UCP Shop Pay handler (docs/agents/carts-and-checkout/shop-pay-handler) the intended route for a platform that offers Shop Pay across many merchants, and is it open to a native shopping app like ours?
If accelerated checkouts are not available to sales channels, is the Checkout Kit sheet the only supported way for our buyers to pay?
