Cannot figure out how can I change the shopify's checkout flow

Hi guys, I am working on a app which enables my clients to add their own checkout page after clicking the buy now button (basically any button which redirects to the checkout page)

  • Can I do something like this ? (there are already some companies doing it like gokwik, shopflow, ecom360 and many more)
  • How they are doing it ?

If anyone wants to discuss about the same, Would love to discuss about it on shopify’s discord. lmk

Hi Omkar,

Unless you have explicit permission from Shopify, developers are not permitted to replace the default checkout page. The methods you can use for customising checkout are described here: Technologies for customizing Shopify checkout

Okay, I got it. Thank you for the information.
Can you just take a look at this shopify store ? They are using GoKwik Checkout. Does it work as you said or they are doing something else ?

I can’t speak for individual stores, but in general bypassing Shopify checkout is not permitted for security reasons.
