I built a Chrome extension for researching Shopify stores and I would love some feedback!
Hey everyone, I built a tool called MakerPeek that I think is definitely useful for people here.
Install it, visit any Shopify store, and it instantly shows you the stats (e.g. bestsellers), apps, themes, price distribution and more. No digging required. It’s useful for competitor research, niche validation, or just curiosity.

I built it because other competitor research tools love to hallucinate revenue numbers for stores which is just an estimate that is often wrong. All info in MakerPeek is verifiable which is why I did not include revenue estimates. It’s all the info you want, in one place.
I would genuinely appreciate any installs or feedback, I’m still in the early days and I’m looking to improve it based on real use. Let me know what you think or what you’d want it to do that it doesn’t yet.
