I’m currently working on my Shopify store using the Taiga theme, and I would like to customize the variant picker.
On both the product page and collection pages, I want the “Color” option to display the actual variant images instead of text labels or color swatches. In other words, each color option should appear as a clickable thumbnail using the corresponding variant’s image.
Could you let me know if this is something that can be achieved directly within the theme settings, or if it requires a Liquid customization? If Liquid is needed, I would appreciate guidance on where this should be implemented.
Also, just to clarify, I understand that Liquid is Shopify’s templating language used to control how content is rendered dynamically on the storefront.
