I recently published a Shopify app which is an eBay integration. During review, my app was flagged as a sales channel app and a marketplace connector.
I therefore had to remove the feature that allowed merchants to export Shopify products to eBay. This was a major feature of the app, so the app has been greatly devalued.
In my case, I do not own or operate eBay and therefore am not eligible to create an eBay sales channel.
Would I be able to include exporting to eBay if I do so using only the Admin API? Or is a sales channel really the only way to include this functionality in the app store going forward?
I don’t want to add this feature to my app without getting clarification and put my app at risk of being delisted.
