Custom Checkout Apps Not Working with Shop Pay

Hi, I have a problem. I implemented custom checkout apps for my client that allow customers to enter a VAT number, add product cross-sells, etc. However, when a store user (buyer) enters the checkout and has a Shop Pay account, they are redirected to a different checkout (this checkout gets remembered, so they always end up there), where my apps are no longer available.

Is there any way to implement them there? It’s quite problematic that the user loses the ability to add, among other things, their VAT number. This is a crucial functionality for this store.

What can I do?

I guess you built checkout UI extension.
Did you enable Shop Pay for your checkout UI extension on Shopify theme editor?

Oh, I didn’t know I could do that. Should I enable it somewhere in my custom app?
