Custom subscription app and migration from existing app

I’m building a custom subscription app for a Plus store. They’re currently using a public subscription app, but they need some features that aren’t supported, which is why we’re moving to a custom solution.

I have a couple of questions regarding migration:

  1. Right now, some customers are on via Stripe and some are via Shopify Payments. How would the migration process work in this case?

  2. When migrating existing subscribers from the old app to the new custom app, will customers receive any notifications or be required to take any action on their end?

Thanks for the reply Amal, In our case customers are already in Shopify, we will just migrate subscription contracts.
