e.g. generated image.

Hm, share is opening a standard device specific functionality. For example on iOS you can download the shared content to the device from within the native dialog, or am I missing something?
Having just tried this on my device you’re right that the sharing options screen in iOS26 is not showing an option to save the image to library or files - good catch! Created a ticket to investigate (internal id #89588)
