The Shopify .dev community has quickly become a valuable space for developers to troubleshoot technical issues when building with Shopify’s APIs, and a huge part of that is due to the collaborative nature of the community members.
To recognise and reward valuable contributions to the Shopify .dev community, we’re launching a new program of incentives, starting with the ability to earn unique gifts, category-specific badges, and profile flairs.
The more you participate in the community, the more exciting and unique gifts you will unlock, specially crafted for our top contributors! These badges and flairs are also a way to showcase your knowledge and experience in helping fellow developers.
How It Works
- When you reach 50 responses in a specific category, you’ll earn a badge for that category, visible on your profile.
- When you reach 125 responses on the .dev community in one calendar year, you’ll earn a flair to display on your avatar, as well as a special gift we’ll send out to you!
- When you reach 250 and 500 responses you’ll receive even more exclusive .dev community gifts.
- Community members who have already hit these levels of responses in specific categories will have these badges and flairs added to their profile today!
