Feature Request: First-class support for one-time-use discounts per Company (B2B)

Discount usage limits today can be scoped per customer or globally, but there’s no way to scope a limit to a Company. For B2B stores, a common use case is a promotional offer that should be redeemable only once per Company — regardless of which contact within that company applies it.

Right now the only way to approximate this is a custom Shopify Function that tracks redemptions via metafields on the Company object, which is a lot of overhead for what feels like a standard B2B discounting need.

Any chance of first-class support for Company-scoped discount usage limits?

Thank you for this great suggestion! We do not currently have this on the roadmap but I have logged your feature request so it will be considered going forward.

There is another way you could scope a discount usage limit to a Company. You can create a market with a discount specific to each company location, and then set the global limit on each discount (target discounts to specific markets).

This may not be a good fit if your company locations could otherwise share the same market configurations, but it is an option that is possible today.

This store has over 18,000 B2B companies… full ERP integration. That wouldn’t be manageable. We’ve come up with a workaround, but are requesting and suggesting that the same functionality that exists for DTC be expanded to serve the B2B audience.
