Would it be possible to support monthly recurring billing with a lifetime discount on App Store listings?
At the moment, listings are limited to four plans, so there’s no way to represent this pricing model. It seems like a relatively small addition that would make app pricing more accurate for developers who offer lifetime discounts.
Just wanted to put it on your radar and see if it’s something that could be considered.

Before I pass this along, could you share a bit more about the intended use case?
- Is this discount meant to be available publicly to all new merchants, or only to selected/grandfathered merchants?
- How would you expect it to appear on the App Store listing? For example, original monthly price plus discounted monthly price, a “lifetime discount” label, or just the discounted monthly price?
- Is the main limitation the four public plan slots, the lack of a permanent monthly discount option, or both?
