Follow-up on our crawler registration: ProductGale (Web Bot Auth)

Short description of issue

Third-party Web Bot Auth crawler (ProductGale): registration form submitted 2026-10-25, no confirmation yet. Is it active, or do you need anything else?

Reproduction steps

1. On 2026-10-25 we submitted Shopify’s crawler registration form for ProductGale, category Search Engine Optimization.
2. ProductGale signs every request with Web Bot Auth (HTTP Message Signatures, RFC 9421, Ed25519).
   • Signature-Agent: "https://api.productgale.com"
   • Key directory: https://api.productgale.com/.well-known/http-message-signatures-directory
   • keyid: mVgoij07x78tr7agQno2t1L3MdJVrDL5e-HxLRbAh84
   • User agent: ProductGale-Scan/1.0 (+https://productgale.com/bot)
   • Source IP: 49.13.157.177 (reverse DNS api.productgale.com, list at productgale.com/bot/ips.json)
3. We have had no confirmation that the registration is active.

Product Gale shows store owners what AI shopping assistants can read on their product pages. A scan is started by a store owner, reads robots.txt, the product feed or sitemap and 10 to 200 product pages depending on the plan, with a few requests per page. It follows robots.txt (token ProductGale) and Crawl-delay up to 60 seconds, backs off on 429 and Retry-After, and never uses content for training. Docs: Product Gale Bot - Product Gale
