GA4 shopify_app_install never received

Hello,
I’m not getting the “shopify_app_install” event in Google Analytics.
I do receive “add app button” and “open app button” and all the others.
I have created a secret api in “Measurement Protocol API secrets” which is registered in the tracking information of my partner dashboard. Where can the problem come from? I tried manually to install in real time and I see nothing (just add app btn and open app btn)

Did you create the shopify_app_install custom event in your Google Analytics property?

It might need to be created manually for the events to start to register.

i tried to create an event shopify_app_install but i must have made a mistake. Is it a “custom configurations” ? Should i choose create with or without code ?

You may need to delete that event and start over.

I believe the steps I took where to create without code, then select View more options

In this form, you can create the custom event based off of the event name passed from Shopify, and make sure to allow Shopify to pass their own params:

I tried your setup with two different app and it still doesn’t work (i’v uninstalled installed the app and watched on the real-time overview and just have the add app button/open app button/scroll and everything but not shopify_app_install)

Do you use “create event” or “custom configuration” ? Should it be as a “key event” without default key value ?
