Hi, we have a payment app on the shopify store and I want to get the order number of orders that were completed using our payment app on our system. How can I achieve this?
This is a request from our merchants as they want to use this order number for reconciliation

- at the moment there’s not a way to pull the order number/name/id from payment session data through payment apps. At the moment, our guidance is to direct merchants to the Payment ID that your app is sent by Shopify and is available in the Order screen in the merchant’s admin. I definitely understand that’s not the most ideal since some merchants do require the full Order info through other reconciliation services, so I’ll add a feature request note for you. I know this is a really desired feature and while I can’t guarantee anything, I have seen feature requests from the forum be developed into fully available features.
