GraphQL - Order with Bundle Items

Hey All,

Wondering if there will be any support on the horizon for sending bundled item SKU via the graphQL create order mutation?

This obviously would be great for people using bundles, but also would assist in allowing external marketing channels native integrations sync products/order (aka meta).

Currently we really can’t support in-facebook checkout (which is pushing into Australia right now) with the native integration (as they can’t sync bundled items across), effectively rendering the native bundling someone redundant (which is terrible as its great).

Really no need for that ChatGPT/AI answer.

@Luke thanks, agreed i don’t really need some AI commentary.

would be really helpful though, currently for managed channels i query bundles into a BQ datastore, then expand it through that to the components.

obviously, the logic is there as it is baked into the UX and front end store, support for orderCreate and products would make is sooo much easier for me as well as support for those products on channels.

Hey @ChrisBradley, good call out on the orderCreate mutation not working on variants with requiresComponents: true.

I’ve submitted this feedback to our product team, specifically highlighting your Facebook native checkout use case. :memo:

@KyleG-Shopify thanks :folded_hands:
