Is there a way to hide products from the Search & Discovery (S&D) recommendations? The seo.hidden metafield hides them from search results but doesn’t exclude them from recommendations. Removing these products from the loop results in fewer than 10 recommended products, which isn’t ideal.

Just came to create a post about this exact issue.
Seems valid to have this as a feature request where seo.hidden also hides products from the recommendations engine.

+1 here where seo.hidden metafield entries should be hidden from product recommendations by default. Particularly considering the use case where we’re removing these products from the sitemap intentionally.

I’m not sure if this works with recommendations but I’ve just noticed this new unlisted status option on a store!
EDIT: Based off the Admin API and the unlisted enum for status, I’m going to guess it does cover this!
The product is active but you need a direct link to view it. Doesn’t show up in search, collections, or product recommendations.

Is this in GA now? I saw this changelog a while back and it was immediately removed.
