How to reset the theme?

I’m trying to switch to the new theme, where new theme images are not reflecting despite I deleted my current content. It still shows old theme images.

This community forum is for developers who are building with Shopify’s APIs - it sounds like you might be a merchant having an issue migrating to a new theme. If so, your best option would be to ask on the merchant forums here, or connect with Shopify merchant support directly.

Of course, I tried that. But, it doesn’t felt that simple in my case. Since I’m a dev, I’m inclined to find a solution even on the technical side too. Please let me know if you happen to know.

Is there a caching issue? What theme are you migrating to?

Recently, I’ve encountered more caching issues. After modifying the config and styles in the theme editor and saving them, no matter how many times I refresh the frontend page, I keep seeing the cached old version. This problem occurs sporadically. I previously reported an app metafield caching issue, but this doesn’t seem to be limited to app metafield caching alone. It appears the edge node cached the page and failed to refresh it promptly.

Is this happening on all themes or specific ones?
