I’m writing to inquire about the possibility of customizing a “message” or a unique piece of text for each individual product on my Shopify store. I would like to display different information to customers depending on the product they are viewing, such as production details, specific shipping times, or other special messages relevant to that particular item.

My questions are:

  1. Is it possible to set up a unique message for each product without using a third-party app?

  2. If so, could you please provide guidance on which themes files or Liquid code I would need to modify?

  3. If an app is necessary, could you recommend any apps that are well-suited for this specific function?

Great question! You can set up unique messages for each product by using metafields. Metafields are custom data fields that let you store additional information on products and optionally display that in your theme.
