Issue with DiscountCodeApp.totalSales and Sales by Discount in Plus Store

Hi Shopify Dev Team,

We’re encountering issues with tracking sales through discount apps on both Partner and Plus stores. Details below:

  1. DiscountCodeApp.totalSales always returns $0

• This happens consistently on both Partner stores and Plus stores.

• The discount codes are applied and used by customers, but the sales are not being reflected in the totalSales field.

  1. “Sales by Discount” report returns no data for app-generated discount functions

• On Plus stores, when filtering “Sales by Discount”, discounts created via our Function app are not showing up in the report at all.

We’ve confirmed that discounts are being used and applied correctly at checkout, but tracking/reporting seems broken or unsupported.

Is this a known limitation with Function-based discounts or an issue with the reporting pipeline?

Hey @Karoshi :waving_hand: - I did a bit of digging into this, and I can’t see a mention of this in our docs or internally being a known issue. Would you be able to share the shop ID and the DiscountCodeNode ID in the thread here and I can take a closer look?

Hi Alan_G,

It seems the report has been collected. There is a 72-hour delay that is preventing the results from showing.
