**Hi there, I am at the edge of collapse and need your help.
Issue:** shopify theme dev randomly shows/hides local changes (~50% success rate on reload)
Environment:
Commands used:
bash
shopify theme pull --live --store [mystore].myshopify.com --password [token]
shopify theme dev --store [mystore].myshopify.com --password [token] --error-overlay silent --store-password [password]
What happens: When I edit files and reload http://127.0.0.1:9292/, changes appear randomly - sometimes they show, sometimes they don’t (roughly 50/50). In the preview url and editor they always show correctly.
Already tried:

3 different Shopify stores

3 different networks
-
Fresh VM installation
-
Cleared browser cache / incognito mode
-
Different proxy configurations
-
Different Shopify versions
and a lot more…

Yes yesterday, I tried to debug all day.
Thanks - it appears this is a bug on our side which we’re currently investigating. I’ll update here when there’s more to share.
Great thanks, have you been working on this already and how long do you expect this to go, I am kind of dependend on it. Also is there a workaround other then the .myshopify.com/?preview_theme_id=XYZ?

I don’t have a specific ETA but our team is working on fixing this as soon as possible. The team were working on this prior to it being flagged on these forums.
This issue should be resolved now @Amin_Mokadem - can you test again on your side?

I don’t have much details - just that it was a bug related to caching, and not influenced by your environment config.
